Randomly mashable

Pete Goold

We've had an hilarious night tonight, randomly bumping into Pete Cashmore, founder of Mashable in a San Francisco micro-brewery. Even more randomly, it was his ‘happy birthday'.

All was taken in good nature by Pete. I wont share his imminent travel plans (although it is cool that he's back in the UK for a time and I know he's speaking at Blog08 in Amsterdam, alongside Hugh from GapingVoid, amongst others).

The evening was ended at San Franpsycho in the Ambassador across town. Drinks were shared. Dances were danced. EMEA industry heads (and I'm not even implying any of our clients, for once) were spotted, milling around. All in all, a top time was had.

Random thought for the night: why on earth does Abercrombie & Fitch seem to think that ‘large' equates to the frame of an average 10 year old? I'm fairly comfortable with the fact that my aging carcass is expanding over time - but the sizes given in A & F are verging on the hilarious. Clearly the youthful exclusivity is the point - and one which I have apparently missed up until now.
