A Novel Idea

I love books.  I love everything about books: the cover, the print, the smell of a new paperback, even the weight of the book in my hands.  Some of my earliest memories are at the local library in my hometown.  I can spend hours at a bookstore or library studying each title wondering how long I'll get lost in each one. When e-readers and e-books hit the market place I was a bit dubious.  How can electronic books take the place of curling up with a paperback?

 Convinced by a trusted friend, I decided to give an e-reader a go.  I downloaded an app to my smart phone and was quickly sucked in to the convenience of having an entire novel in my pocket.  It's revolutionary for space saving when travelling.  I have to admit, even though I love books and will always love books, having an e-reader is pretty cool.  Now I'll just have to stop myself from blowing my allowance on book downloads.
