A Polo Named Pearl

At the weekend I decided I would go for a mooch around the VW showroom with my mum - I very much admire the new VW Polo's and I knew I wanted to buy a new car at some point. I wasn't in any rush, my little KA could still get me from A to B. I decided to have a few brief words with the salesman, just to ask a few questions about the car itself, and finance options. Half an hour later I found myself shaking his hand and buying a new car!
I decided to go for a Black VW Polo 1.4 SE - a bit of an upgrade from my current little KA. I will be sad to give her up but I cannot wait for the exciting adventures I am going to have with the new car. As it's a brand new car and still on her way across from Germany, I am going to have to wait until around the middle of September until I can pick up my little beauty (this is going to be extremely difficult as I'm not the most patient of girls).
I wanted to decide on a name before I picked her up and I was undecided between Hermione, the Greek name for Travel, or Laila, Arabic for Dark Beauty? But Alex and Keredy came to my rescue and suggested Pearl, after the beautiful, rare and extremely valuable black pearl. Pearls happen to be my favourite gemstone, and as the official shade of my new car is Deep Black Pearl I felt it was quite fitting.
All I can say is roll-on September!!!
