A Virtual Cook

With all the talk of Google+’s features, the one that has stood out the most is the Hangout function.  As a self professed foodie and a keen baker, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across Google+ cooking school.  I’ve wanted to take cooking or baking classes to improve my skills, but they are usually at the local college during inconvenient times or out of my budget. With a cooking hangout, I can jump in when I can with no pressure or guilt if I miss a class.

I’m really intrigued about how a cooking class will work over a web cam, but it sounds like fun. I blog about food and baking and also enjoy networking with other food bloggers. I can’t wait to get involved in a Google+ Hangout dedicated to something I am passionate about. Already the Google+ cooking school has made some of my favourite dishes such as paella, flatbread and pizza.  I can’t wait to see what’s next on the menu and giving it a go myself.
