A Week Is A Long Time In The World Of PR

Well, I have been away for but a week, but a week is a long time in the world of PR. It's amazing how much has happened in that relatively short period of time. Often, at the coal face you don't get much of a chance to smell the roses, but thanks to a splendid week away in the Languedoc (swimming, eating, and getting even fatter), I can look upon all our achievements with fresh and appreciative eyes.

In no particular order, we have won two very exciting and highly prestigious pieces of new business (the announcement of which I will leave to Mr. Punch himself - Pete Goold). We are about to move location to a beautiful new office / barn conversation - pleasingly just over the border in sunny Northamptonshire "Rose of the Shires". Spain won Euro 2008, which despite my pessimistic prediction gives me office bragging rights and of course, my big bald head is now very brown - which is nice.

Sadly, Abbie is now off to Ibiza, which means I have only a week to cherish the 'most tanned' title, before her return. Still, a week is a long time in the world of PR
