As my passion for baking manifested, I was continuously reading and searching for blogs about baking. Each time I came across a new one, I was inspired, so I made a resolution for the New Year to upgrade from Tumblr and create my own.
I signed up to Wordpress and started the process. Choosing a design template and background was probably the most difficult part. There are so many to choose from, each having their own purpose for different sorts of blogs. I wanted one that was simple and striking but that could include photos, text and even videos. I went through 2 designs before finally deciding on Wu-Wei with a soft green custom background colour that would compliment food.
I’m now 4 posts in and am finding my feet. I even embedded a video on the “About” page. Creating my own blog has been a really fun experience, which will enhance my weekend baking and enable me to share the tasty treats with a wider audience. Since my interests aren’t solely based around baking, so there will be other stuff included too. Just wait and see what food and frivolity will appear!
