Punch was commissioned to undertake a PR campaign in the run up to Halloween on behalf of Pure Party, which is owned by Clinton Cards PLC, the parent company of Clinton Cards and Birthdays.

Pure Party is a one stop party specialist, both on the high street and online, offering a huge range of dedicated party products, including balloons, accessories, costumes, party decorations, themes and accessories.

Campaign Goals & Results
Within a six week timeframe, Punch was required to create an impact for the Pure Party website spanning regional, online and if possible national daily media, with editorial and competition based coverage.

Punch undertook significant research to determine a broad set of opportunities across the regional and online media to offer the best use of competition prizes. The best opportunities, offering the broadest geographical spread and readership, were cherry-picked and agreed to be executed.

The Punch team then coordinated with ten publications to manage the opportunities and ensure each article was optimal.

That done, the team then undertook a media relations campaign, achieving additional press coverage in the regional online and national media.
