CTEK Looks To Highlight Dedicated Disability Vehicle Connector Plug

CTEK, a leading producer of battery maintenance and charging devices, is looking to highlight its dedicated smart battery charger for disability vehicles. The connector plug is designed to work with CTEK’s 24V 4A smart battery charger to help mobility vehicle owners properly condition and maintain their batteries to ensure maximum range and life span are achieved.
As mobility vehicles continue to advance, with new features and the ability to use them more frequently, CTEK recognised this was putting the vehicle batteries under increasingly high strain, raising the likelihood that the battery would have to be repaired or replaced. Around 80 percent of all battery failures are due to sulphation caused by undercharging, proving that regular battery protection is now a necessity. CTEK recognised the growing problem, which is why it introduced this charging accessory.
CTEK produces a range of charging and maintenance devices for a number of different battery types, and is proud to add the disability vehicle connector plug to its range of charging accessories. The disability vehicle connector plug was introduced because not charging batteries to 100 percent capacity means the mobility vehicle battery will be cycled more than necessary, increasing stratification and limiting the battery’s capacity.
Jan-Ulf Soderberg, head of brand and marketing at CTEK, commented: “As technology in disability vehicles become increasingly advanced there is a greater requirement for owners to take regular care of their batteries. Due to sulphation being such a common occurance for battery failure, we’ve introduced the dedicated disability vehicle connector plug to help owners save money on repair and replacement where possible.”
The disability vehicle connector plug is part of CTEK’s extensive line of battery protection and conditioning devices. For more information on CTEK’s battery failure prevention equipment, or to find your nearest stockist, please visithttp://www.ctek.com.
