Email Systems Sustains Serial Expansion

Web and email management specialist Email Systems has continued its rapid expansion apace in recent weeks, with over 100 new customers signing a month, channel growth up 120% on the previous year and 8 new team members joining in recent weeks in technical and development, in addition to the well publicised global merger with Webroot - a US based leading provider of security software for the consumer, enterprise and SMB markets.

Jonathan Morgan, previously Major Accounts Manager at BlackSpider through the surfcontrol and websense acquisitions, has joined Email Systems to head the channel focused New Major Accounts Department that is due to be launched later this month. The new department has been assembled to cope with, filter and manage the increase in resellers wanting to partner with Email Systems following a long series of publicised success stories.

The largest of the success stories revolves around the merger with Webroot where coverage reached several continents. Hosted messaging security service spending that totalled nearly $300 million in 2006, globally, is expected to reach $1.4 billion by 2011. The collaboration with Webroot will incorporate the management, sales, marketing and technology of the two companies and form one of the worlds largest managed security vendors that will be poised to target a sizable percentage of the worldwide expenditure.

In the recent months before the merger, Email Systems announced that its channel growth increased by 120% for the year, revenue growth also increased by 85% during that same period. Continual growth and announcements week on week around new brand name customer wins, partners switching to the service and customers switching from competitors offerings have all contributed to Email Systems prominence in the current market.

Email Systems also won 'Security Vendor of The Year' at last months Channel Reseller News (CRN) awards - a particularly prominent industry award as it is voted for by other businesses within the sector.
