I'm not the biggest sports fan, but every four years I get really excited about the world coming together to celebrate football or soccer depending on where you live.

In this day and age, there are so many different ways to follow the FIFA World CupTM. You have your choice from newspapers, television, radio, and now through social media outlets such as Blogs, Twitter, comments through Facebook and many more.

This year, as I camp out in front of my television with my laptop on standby, I have decided to go one step further in following the beautiful game. I'm following each nation through food.

Each evening, the hubs and I are preparing meals in honor of one of the countries playing that night. It's quite a challenge, but I think we're up for it.

Watch this space for culinary adventure updates and challenges as the teams get knocked out and nations are repeated. Tonight we have Sosaties with Yellow rice representing South Africa v Mexico and tomorrow Gallettes Complête with cider from Brittany for France v Mexico. Yum... I can't wait!
