We've just been pulling some info together for a slide deck and as part of a meet the team section, thought we'd share some of our first gaming experiences as individuals. In chronological order:
Will and Emilie’s first gaming devices were both Sega Megadrive, circa 1994.
Alex’s first gaming device was a NES, circa 1993.
George and Gina’s first gaming device were both Commodore 64, circa 1988 (Gina being a particular fan of Fire Ant).
Georgina *thinks* that hers *may* have been a ZX Spectrum of indeterminate type.
Phil's was a (highly specific) ZX Spectrum 128k + 2, circa 1985.
Erica and Dom’s first gaming devices were Atari 2600's, circa 1983 (although Dom also recalls one of these).
... and...
Pete’s first gaming device was a Dragon32, circa 1982.
Manic Miner, Frogger, Asteroids, Matchday, Operation Wolf and Daley Thomson's Decathlon are all currently being discussed in hushed, reverential tones.
Unsurprisingly, this conversation is now deviating into whether people had Grifter, a Striker or a Chopper. Some of the participants were in nappies at the time...
[UPDATE] News just in, Keredy had one of these bad boys; a Commodore PET, circa 1988.
