Goallover and DLG Initiate Creation Of Taskforce

Goallover, creator of Europe's premier lead generation management and validation platform, has partnered with consumer lifestyle specialists DLG to work with industry leaders and lobby the IAB for the creation of a Lead Generation Taskforce that will promote best practice in the online lead generation sector.

Specifically, the partnership aim is to generate far reaching impact across the industry in terms of compliance with UK & European data protection laws, the establishment and promotion of best practice guidelines, and ultimately, the creation of an IAB affiliated Lead Generation Taskforce.

Consequently, Goallover and DLG are working to develop a series of sector wide guidelines for submission to the IAB, covering areas such as the constituent elements of a valid lead, the importance of an independent lead validation system and increased transparency.

The agreement is designed to promote a number of market transparency principles including the date, time and source of all leads generated, the definition of solus or co-registered leads and clear communications between both parties as to whether leads are generated as the result of incentives introduced by the lead source.
