Sportingo Poll Indentifies The Hardest Working Premiership Players According to 8,953 Fans
Sportingo, which empowers sports fans to become expert pundits through creating and sharing opinion, has announced that Mathieu Flamini (Arsenal), Robbie Keane (Tottenham) and Javier Mascherano (Liverpool) have been voted the hardest working players in the Premier League according to nearly 9,000 fans.
With much of the Premiership season played, thousands of online supporters logged onto the Sportingo website to put their vote forward for the hardest working player. Arsenal's Mathieu Flamini came out on top with 1,729 of the votes following a succession of impressive outings this season. A defender, a mid-fielder and a goal scorer, Flamini has been seen covering every inch of the pitch putting in performances that have kept the likes of Gilberto Silva out of the starting eleven.
Tottenham's Robbie Keane came second in the honours with 1,427 of the fans votes. Since playing for Wolves, Coventry, Inter Milan and Leeds, the diligent forward came into his own at Spurs and is a constant inspiration on the field, often seen holding the ball in the centre of the pitch and tackling back to assist his mid-field team mates.
Criticism and disapproval over his contract situation hasn't distracted hard working Javier Mascherano from playing his normal, dynamic football. The talismanic holding mid-fielder gained 1,325 of the votes following some impressive performances in a squad that has been less than impressive on more than one occasion this season.

Once again, with 9,000 votes, this poll has been hugely successful, demonstrating that the Sportingo fans recognise the hard work and application of players, as well as the headline grabbing glory. Often the unsung hero, identifying the hardest working players is recognising that they are the engine room of a team and is a tremendous accolade"
