Here comes Spiderman!

I've started planning my son's birthday party. It's not until December, but I like to be organized.
He is currently obsessed with Spiderman, so the theme this year is Superheroes. It has given me a chance to reflect on my favorite superheroes and Saturday morning cartoons from my youth. Long gone are the days that I could curl up on the sofa in front of the television and get lost in the stories of Superfriends. The invitation is a mock comic book cover, giving me the chance to do what I call research, aka - reading comic books for inspiration.
I've dusted off the Saturday Morning Cartoons CD as played by some of my favorite 90's artists. These kids aren't going to know what hit them as I transform the local community hall into Gotham City. Watch out... here comes Spiderman!
