About
The Internet Content Rating Association is a non-profit organisation that exists to protect children from potentially harmful material whilst preserving free speech on the internet. ICRA is supported by many of the leading internet industry players: AOL Europe, Bell Canada, British Telecom, The Internet Association of Japan, Microsoft, the Parents Advisory Group for the Internet (Singapore), T-Online, and Verizon.
Campaign Goals & Results
Punch worked with ICRA to provide strategic counsel at board level regarding the organisation's public relations activity and to provide an ongoing press office service. Given the potentially sensitive and controversial subject matter, a good deal of the campaign was issues-based. Media coverage highlights for ICRA has included media coverage on Associated Press, The Guardian, Forbes.com, MSNBC, ABC News, The Globe and Mail, Business.com, HeraldSun.com, WashingtonPost.com.
