We've just won a number of clients and have had a few more people join the team - details to follow shortly on both - so there's no sign of a pre-Christmas lull as yet.

In case you missed it, a quick note with our new Punch G+ page. In the last two weeks, much has been written about the restricted functionality of brand pages - and particularly, the one-way nature of contact initiation at present, but irrespective, my love affair with Google+ continues unabated.

One interesting outcome of the impact of G+ since it was first introduced not so long ago is the polarising effect it has had in terms of people's stated preferences in social media. Previously, whilst an individual may indeed have used one social site more than others, they didn't tend to be so vocal - whereas I have recently heard several people reference that they are a 'twitter person' or a 'Facebook person' for example.

Quite unexpectedly, it has actually pushed me back towards Facebook in a personal context, whereas previously I had become a far bigger fan of Twitter. Mind you, although I have read estimates that suggest Twitter's active user base is a small fraction of the 200m+ users that are sometimes referenced, it would take a brave person to predict that Twitter is going anywhere just yet.

Nevertheless, the site which I still use the most is Delicious - although primarily for personal reference, rather than social sharing. The combination of Delicious and Instapaper allow me to browse the web and capture reference points for later, without clogging up my inbox. But if anyone does fancy taking a look (not least because I pull the RSS feed through to my blog - now at www.petegoold.com) it is all there to view.
