Now We Are 10

We've hit a number of landmarks at once this week - not only are we just about to finish our sixth financial year but we've also hired two new team members - Alex Smith & Holly Draper, which follow shortly after the appointment of Christie Hobbs just a few weeks ago and take Punch to a total team of 10.

This feels momentous - not just because of the double figures or because Ben, our first hire, joined just 18 months ago - but it seems as though we've really started to generate some momentum. I haven't measured recently but at the last time of looking we were winning an average of two new clients per month. We have just commenced two new projects in March, are about to start another in April and have several more in the pipeline.

Alex joins us as an Account Executive who will be specialising solely on social media implementations for clients, working alongside colleagues that are implementing both traditional and PR2.0 campaigns - but focussing solely on social media.

Holly joins us as an Account Manager to provide some additional account senior handling resource. Holly joins from a public sector role and has a great deal of PR experience to bolster the team.

So, expect to see both Alex and Holly on the Punch team page imminently - as soon as their photos are done, actually.

And the last piece of news? We're talking to the landlord about knocking a (door shaped) hole in the wall and expanding into the building next door...
