About

Established in late 2011, Pink Chillies is a charitable consumer brand which creates and sells elephant-themed products.  Its first characters, Aditi and Etana, are a pair of elephants which feature in a range of gifts and everyday items, such as tote bags, stationery, badges and plush toys, all of which are available to buy via a dedicated website. Pink Chillies donates 10 per cent of the profit from the sales of its products to help Tusk – a Dorset-based charity that supports African elephants, their habitat and the challenges they face – and London-based charity Elephant Family, which is the UK's biggest funder for the endangered Asian elephant.

Campaign Goals & Results

Punch was appointed at the end of 2011, to handle the consumer PR and social media outreach for Pink Chillies and to specifically build brand awareness amongst its target audience of children, teenagers and adults.  Punch has secured strong press coverage in tier one media and with prolific bloggers, including Girl Talk, Female First and Sparkle World.

In the client's words
"We needed an agency with strong consumer PR experience, and a proven knowledge and track record in social media channels, to grow our brand and communicate the deeper messages behind it. Punch has great contacts across traditional media and bloggers, and the team is just as excited about the brand as we are.”"
