Punch Delivers £53k of Coverage In Two Hits

Punch has delivered two pieces of outstanding national coverage for clients in a week, with a combined advertising value of more than £53k.

On Wednesday 18th July, Metro featured the launch of Golden Jigsaw, the online puzzling phenomena across page 3 of the paper. Subsequently the site experienced a major surge in sign ups and significant interest from advertisers. The project launched on Friday 20th with tens of thousands beginning the quest for $1m and fan sites appearing across the internet, from forums to cartoons dedicated to the game.

On Wednesday July 25th, The Financial Times dedicated two thirds of a full broadsheet page to Calum Brannan the creator of PPLparty. The piece which looks at enterprising Britain describes Calum's journey from the classroom to the boardroom, and how he successfully launched his online social networking site, with £200 worth of flyers, and simple word of mouth. With pieces due for PPLparty in both the Guardian and Revolution, Calum has also been named The Director of the month for The IoD's Director Magazine.
