Punch Is Hiring (Again)...

Posted: Sunday 24 August, 2008

Punch is hiring once again - potentially for several positions.

Rather than specific roles with specific job specs and salaries, we're looking for interesting individuals, preferably with demonstrable PR experience, of all levels. Ideally we'd like Account Managers, ie 4+ years of experience in an appropriate position. However, the net is being thrown as wide as possible. The position/s (and salary) will ultimately be commensurate with experience.

Punch has grown considerably in the last year, having won 24 new clients which now span from Sydney to San Francisco and grown the Punch team to seven over the 12 month period. We have just celebrated our fifth birthday with a move to significantly larger Midlands-based premises.

We've also consolidated our recent growth with a major push on the search engines which has resulted in terrific national/international visibility and is having an incredible effect on incoming new business enquiries from companies of all sizes. Hence the need to recruit once again.

If you are at all interested and would like to join our small, dynamic team, please drop Pete Goold a line to find out more.

In responding, whilst an updated CV is of course appropriate, we will almost certainly ask three questions of every candidate - so if you can answer these in advance in any covering email that would be helpful:

  • relevant experience/length of experience/anticipated title (Account Executive/Account Manager/Account Director),
  • relevant career highlights to date and
  • salary expectations.

Creativity and initiative to help any response stand out will of course also be welcome.

One final point, our standards are extremely high so please only drop us a line if you are really passionate and are looking to commit to a future in the PR industry (with Punch). Our agency culture is a combination of hard-work ethic and friendship/trust borne out of reliance upon colleagues. Consequently the right attitude across the team is as at least as important as the right skill-set.

We look forward to hearing from you!
