Apparently it's minus 24 degrees there at present. Not only am I ill equipped to deal with such temperatures but moreover I'm not sure I even really understand the concept of minus 24. I've a feeling that a trip to the local sports shop to buy some under armour is on the cards between now and next Monday.
Given Kath's Russian heritage I would have thought that she was used to this sort of thing and had earmuffs and fur coats aplenty - apparently not though, so we're currently considering not taking luggage and simply wearing everything we need at once, with the plan of rotating the wardrobe as required...
