The winter blues

I have officially decided I hate winter. Spring and summer are the perfect seasons, the sun shines, the air is warm and everyone’s happy. The cold weather causes too many problems. Why is it when us Brits get a few centimetre’s of snow on the ground everyone goes into a mad panic? Drivers become too cautious and drive extra slow, which causes others on the road to get stressed and drive more erratically. Train services become a mess, with services delayed up and down the country, just as flying becomes a nightmare. Cold weather just messes everything up. Even if the snow stops falling, we are still left with troublesome sheets of ice, trying to trip you up at every chance.
A number of the Punch team have meetings scheduled around the country this week, I am just hoping that everything runs as planned. I for one, am down in London tomorrow for a meeting with WWF and even if the trains are delayed, I will find a way there...somehow.
We are all keeping our fingers crossed that the ice melts away for Tuesday, when it is the Punch Christmas Party!
