Tune In/Turn Off

I love check in apps.  The voyeur in me likes to see where others are checking in as well.  I don't get out as much as I used to, so apps such as Foursquare or Gowalla are generally lost on me, although I'm aiming to be the mayor of my local grocery store.

I love TV and I watch a lot of TV shows.  I recently discovered Get Glue, a entertainment check in app.  This was made for me! I love checking in and earning badges just by watching my favorite television programmes, reading my favorite books, or even drinking my favorite wine.  I don't even have to leave the house; I can check in while still having a cozy night in.    The only downside is that I think I may have an addiction to fiction and my friends can see the rubbish TV I really watch.  Shh...  Mad Men is just starting...
