Given the conditions here at present I thought I'd indulge in one of thegreat British pastimes: commenting on the weather. Although temperatures seemto have hit thirty degrees again today and we're surrounded by glass, we seem to be coping pretty well and noone has flaked out just yet.
Fans are going full blast, ice-creams have been acquired and windows are wideopen - which is making client calls a little interesting as we're based above afairly busy nursery that bustles with the noise of supercharged toddlers on anormal day, never mind one where the sun further aggravates their mania.
Lovely though our offices are, when the weather kicks off the building'sconstruction does give rise to the feeling that you're in a large, open-planstatic caravan. Still, it's days like today that the sun terrace is a definitebenefit, even if it's just to pretend that we're outdoors and not working likecrazy for a few minutes...
