What to do without work

Ok, so I've got the rest of the week booked off as annual leave. It's been in the diary for a little while now but with the volume of work that's headed my way (and the rest of the team as well) I haven't actually sat down and organised anything to do.

I'm really looking forward to it and I've had a bit of a think, maybe I could go for a long walk in the countryside and take in some fresh air but, no doubt it will rain and I'll. Perhaps I could jump on a train and do some shopping in London, but it's inevitable that the tube strike will be re-announced and I'll get stuck underneath Covent Garden. Go out for dinner - boring on your own. Watch films - seen them. Hang out with friends - they'll be at work. Sleep - no

Anyway, I really want to make the most of it but you can see that I'm basically talking myself out of my ideas as I don't think they're fun enough. So I put it to the team, here's what they had to say:

Keredy: ‘Paint my house'. Ben's response: ‘I would but I'm really busy'
Alex: ‘Write a blog post'. Ben's response: ‘ermmmmm'
Will: ‘Watch Jeremy Kyle'. Ben's response: ‘Why do I even bother asking?'
Phil: Shouldn't be repeated...anywhere. Ben's response: ‘What the hell...'

Alex did actually did come back with the idea of playing golf which I do enjoy and seems to be the best so far but, if you by any chance have any remotely interesting idea's please send me an email...please.

What to do when you're not at work? more difficult than I thought!
