As Christmas draws ever closer, shoppers across Britain are faced with the task of purchasing gifts and for many it is hard to find a valued and sincere gift that will not end up in the back of the wardrobe. Christmas should be a time where families all over the UK join together in order to give and receive gifts which are carefully chosen, imaginative and meaningful. In response to this gift conundrum, WWF has unveiled a number of gifts suitable for Christmas.
Howard Wright of WWF-UK, said: "Every WWF gift will appeal to people who are keen to support our work and for those who want to give a meaningful gift this Christmas. All the gifts we offer are an excellent way for WWF to raise awareness of endangered species, providing much needed funds that continue to support the many global WWF projects currently underway. Because gifts can be purchased from our website, it is perfect for those who want to avoid the high street during the busy Christmas period. "
WWF has gifts to suit families with all budgets, from cute and cuddly Meerkat toys (priced at £14.99) to unique 3D wooden Brain Benders puzzles, which are made from FSC wood and available in a Rhino, Elephant, Panda, Turtle and Tiger shape (priced at £9.99).
Other standout gifts for Christmas include the Help Save Tigers Box, priced at only £19.99, which features a plush toy, animal fact booklet and One Planet booklet. With an estimated 3,200 tigers left in the world, WWF is aiming to double tiger numbers by 2022. Purchasers of the Help Save Wild Tigers Box can also visit WWF using the special link and sign up the WWF's adoption scheme for just £1.00 a month. Polar Bear, Orang-utan, Dolphin, Panda and Penguin boxes are also available for purchase.
