We’ve hit a number of landmarks in the last few weeks and it really feels like there’s a gathering of momentum within our business. So, I thought I’d take a moment to share some of the things that have been happening at Punch in recent weeks.
Firstly, with two new hires this week alone, we’re now at 41 people, which is the largest that our team has been to date – although we’ve still got quite a few open roles, more on that below.
Our latest recruits Barbara and Vijesh are bolstering our London team and studio respectively, both bringing experience with them. Barbara is a Hungarian native who joins us from her most recent role in Berlin and Vij has joined from an agency role elsewhere in the UK. Both are terrific hires –following hot on the heels of Tim, Phil W, Nicky, Dan, Leigh, Jonathan, Nico and Emily in the last six months or so – and reinforce the benefit of continually hiring likeminded people, who are dynamic, autonomous and intelligent, as a means of safeguarding our culture, particularly as we grow our London team.
Our studio, now at 14 people with skills ranging from copywriting and hand drawn illustration through to 3D animation, VR and web-builds, is growing at some speed to accommodate our evolving range of services.
We’re doing more live social than ever and are proud to be working with John Lewis on part of an autumn campaign. Our work there has led to a number of pieces of trade media coverage in recent weeks, as John Lewis is the first major UK retailer to pioneer shoppable 360 degree content. Here’s a link to a piece in Campaign.
We’ve also started working with LinkedIn, supporting on a range of activities across EMEA and APAC in particular, including a major campaign to promote and reward best practice in social engagement. We’ll be looking to share some results on this in the coming weeks.
As we start to look towards 2018, we’re keen to stay at the edge of change in the industry and offer leading edge services, which are largely responsible for our recent growth in 2017 to date.
We’ve got quite a few roles open – particularly within the project management team (check out our Senior Account Manager roles). So if you’re interested, please drop us a line and we’d love to have a chat to see whether you can help us to achieve even greater success in the coming year.
