The Punch team has been brushing shoulders with celebs at the successful Habitat launch for their latest House of Holland product line – but it wasn’t all cocktails and canapés, as we were in charge of bringing the event to fans via exclusive behind-the-scenes content encompassing a Facebook Live stream, Instagram Stories and Snapchat – the latter included exclusive Habitat x House of Holland filters created in-house at Punch. This content dovetailed with habitat.co.uk/henry, where an interactive 360° image has been created to take customers inside Henry Holland’s suite at The Hoxton, Holborn, which is kitted out with the Romany travelling-inspired SS17 collection.

Following the success of the Facebook Live video for the launch of Henry Holland’s first collection for Habitat in 2016 – where Punch made use of the (then!) new live feature – we were chosen again to execute the campaign for the latest product launch. The bar was raised this year, with the brand becoming one of the first homeware retailers to use Snapchat, as well as making the most of the engagement now present on Instagram Stories.

It’s important for retailers to stand out in an overcrowded e-commerce market, and deliver an innovative strategy and delivery of content. The ThingLink 360° is something we planned, shot and produced – a first for us as an agency which has been very well-received throughout the Habitat business. Additionally, we designed three Snapchat filters in-house for the event: two for the launch party and one for the afterparty.

As well as the man himself, Henry Holland, celebrity attendees and supporters included Radio 1’s Breakfast Show anchorman Nick Grimshaw, TV and radio personality Miquita Oliver (who hosted the inspiration-focused Facebook Live interview with Henry) and Pixie Geldof. The event took place at Habitat’s flagship Tottenham Court Road store, and the afterparty was at the oh-so-hip Hoxton Hotel, Holborn in London.

We’re thrilled to have also won a pitch to help Habitat elevate its social media success with an enhanced social strategy – helping the brand build on the social media success it has generated so far, both through working with high-profile designers such as Henry and through its legacy as a leading homeware brand.
